What you will do

• Act as technical lead, mentor engineers, deep-dive into components, uplift engineering maturity in agile cross-functional environment.
• Define architecture for data products/platforms, manage Solution Architects, bridge Data Engineering and Architecture.
• Set engineering patterns, coding standards, best practices across squads.
• Design scalable cloud-native data solutions, build CI/CD frameworks, drive new tools for cloud-agnostic, AI-ready future.
• Embed validation, testing, monitoring, observability for resilient data products.
• Shape roadmaps with stakeholders, communicate technically and simply.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in cloud data engineering, distributed processing, enterprise-scale data architecture.
• Excellent GCP/Python and/or Node.js 8+, CI/CD (ideally Jenkins).
• Master-level SQL (ideally BigQuery), optimization, performance-tuning, peer reviews.
• Data modelling, semantic layers, profiling, anomaly detection, statistical reasoning.
• Influence stakeholders, cross-functional collaboration, technical leadership.
• Data quality frameworks, governance, secure data handling, business context.
