TL;DR

Technical Support Engineer (Cybersecurity): Providing world-class support to enterprise customers troubleshooting hirify.global security products with an accent on networking, cloud integrations, Kubernetes, and log analysis. Focus on resolving complex issues in distributed systems, packet captures, and data loss prevention configurations.

Location: Flex in Cork, Ireland. Applicants must have the right to work in the location to which you have applied.

What you will do

  • Respond to customer cases per SLAs, gather logs/configs, reproduce issues, research solutions, and escalate as needed.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential problems to optimize hirify.global product performance and customer experience.
  • Prioritize workload by severity/impact, handle escalations, and document all interactions in the tracking database.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing, mentoring, technical reviews of documentation, and act as SME on product components/integrations.
  • Provide in-depth training on products, integrations, and expertise areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Six or more years supporting B2B customers.
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Layer 2/3) and endpoint-to-server troubleshooting.
  • Windows application support (services, registry, Event Viewer, .NET diagnostics).
  • Linux command-line (file systems, permissions, services).
  • Kubernetes fundamentals (pods, microservices, clusters).
  • Cloud storage protocols (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, SMB/CIFS).
  • Log analysis, packet capture (tcpdump, Wireshark), info sec concepts (DLP, data classification).

Nice to have

  • Endpoint diagnostics for Windows/macOS (Office VSTO, memory dumps).
  • Kubernetes via Rancher/K3s.
  • Elasticsearch, Kafka fundamentals.
  • Cloud infra (AWS, S3, Grafana).
