Director SaaS Operations

TL;DR

Director SaaS Operations (Data Analytics & AI): Own customer-facing SaaS operations including SLAs, incident management, and release engineering with an accent on reliability, security, and scalability. Focus on driving DevSecOps practices, managing vendors, building CloudOps capabilities, and ensuring SOC2/ISO compliance.

Location: Hybrid in Berlin or Konstanz, Germany. No relocation benefits offered.

What you will do

• Own customer-facing SaaS operations, including SLAs, runbooks, and incident management for critical issues.
• Drive DevSecOps ensuring high availability of CI/CD pipelines, policy-as-code, and secure delivery workflows.
• Lead packaging, release engineering, orchestration, validation, and rollback strategies for SaaS and on-prem components.
• Manage subcontracted operations partners, tracking KPIs and driving improvements.
• Build and scale CloudOps, DevSecOps, Release Engineering, and QA practices including on-call structures.
• Coordinate with Platform Engineering and product teams on release gates and deployments; improve MTTR and release success rates.

Requirements

• Deep experience running SaaS operations with uptime, reliability, and strong customer SLAs.
• DevSecOps expertise in CI/CD end-to-end, runtime reliability, policy-as-code, and secure pipelines.
• Proven incident command leading high-severity responses and stakeholder communication.
• Process-driven with repeatable workflows for releases, on-call, and operations.
• Experience managing vendors with clear SLAs and KPIs.
• Track record growing and leading teams in CloudOps, DevSecOps, and release engineering.
