First Line Support Production Engineer

TL;DR

First Line Support Production Engineer: Provide first-line troubleshooting support for cleanroom production of lithography machines with an accent on minimizing downtime, optimizing output, and ensuring product quality. Focus on real-time problem-solving, SPC tracking, disturbance analysis, escalation management, and continuous process improvement through documentation and OCAPs.

Location: Wilton, CT, US (onsite cleanroom, 2nd shift Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm). Must be legally authorized to access US-controlled technology prior to starting.

What you will do

• Spend 75% of time in cleanroom providing real-time troubleshooting for production issues to minimize downtime.
• Document disturbances, resolutions, and learnings to enhance OCAPs and support future improvements.
• Escalate complex issues, create ETPs, task lists, DOs, and manage engineering scraps.
• Maintain SPC tracking for tooling and products to ensure data-driven process control.
• Participate in DRB/MRB processes, pre-DRB activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Execute 'As New' processes and perform cherry picks for quality validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering with 2+ years in production engineering or Master's with internship experience.
• Prior experience troubleshooting mechanical or electro-mechanical parts.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical skills, and structured problem-solving.
• Exposure to SPC, data-driven control, quality processes, escalation management, and technical documentation.
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in cleanroom (full gowning), handle physical demands (lifting 35 lbs, ladders, chemicals, lasers), and adapt to dynamic environments.
