TL;DR

Technology Strategy and Growth Manager (Federal Tech): Develop product and solution strategies for secure communications, SIGINT, spectrum management, RF sensing, AI, and software automation aligned with U.S. federal customer requirements with an accent on DoD, DHS, and FAA priorities. Focus on assessing emerging technologies, shaping roadmaps, influencing acquisition needs, and connecting growth initiatives to funded programs and prototypes.

Location: DC/MD/VA Area, Columbia (Maryland) (USA). Must be U.S. Person able to obtain U.S. Government security clearance.

Salary: $179K-$230K

What you will do

  • Develop product and solution strategies aligned with U.S. federal customer requirements.
  • Engage stakeholders to understand and influence market, mission, and acquisition needs.
  • Ensure roadmaps reflect customer priorities, competitive differentiation, and procurement timelines.
  • Assess emerging technologies for mission relevance and integration into solutions.
  • Connect growth initiatives to demonstrations, pilots, prototypes, and contract opportunities.
  • Monitor government trends and translate into product, partnership, and growth recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years in technical business development, product management, or technology strategy in U.S. government market.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. government funding and acquisition mechanisms (DoD, DHS, FAA).
  • Expertise in secure comms, SIGINT, spectrum management, RF sensing, AI, or software automation.
  • Demonstrated success transitioning early-stage products into funded programs.
  • Strong collaboration skills in matrixed environment; ability to travel up to 30% domestically.
  • U.S. Person eligible for security clearance.
