What you will do

• Originate loans with new counterparties to scale the total loan book for the Ethena protocol.
• Own secured lending relationships, advising capital allocators and institutional partners.
• Champion growth of secured lending in USDe backing assets within the trading team.
• Design innovative secured loan structures with partners like exchanges, custodians, and trading firms.
• Drive outperformance by building and expanding relationships, reporting to Head of Trading.

Requirements

• Seasoned experience in credit risk, counterparty risk, or financial markets risk analysis.
• Secured lending background in digital assets with market makers, crypto trading firms, prime brokerage, or institutional clients.
• Strong understanding of institutional, CeFi, and DeFi secured lending markets.
• Proven negotiation skills to close complex deals rapidly with diverse counterparties.
• Financial and quantitative analytical skills for collateral evaluation and credit communication.
• Comfort in high-trust, flat hierarchy with asynchronous communication.
