Data Architect: Define and design scalable, secure data architectures aligned with business and IT strategies with an accent on data platforms, integration patterns, and governance. Focus on evaluating new technologies, establishing best practices, and guiding project teams through implementation.

Location: Hybrid in Austria (Vienna, Graz, Linz), Germany remote

Salary: from €4,476 monthly (full-time, IT collective agreement)

What you will do

• Define scalable, secure, future-proof data architectures
• Translate business requirements into holistic data solutions as customer advisor
• Own architectural decisions on data platforms, integrations, and governance
• Collaborate with stakeholders for successful architecture implementation
• Establish data management standards, modeling, and integration guidelines
• Evaluate technologies and align with long-term goals

Requirements

• Fluency in German (C1 level) and English required
• 5+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or similar
• Expertise in data architectures, platforms, integration patterns
• Deep knowledge of data modeling, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), big data, data warehousing
• Experience with architectural frameworks, governance, data lifecycle
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, consulting mindset
