What you will do
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap, expanding beyond a single hero product
- Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, and market validation to inform decisions
- Source, evaluate, and launch new products through suppliers and manufacturers
- Analyze feedback, returns, and NPS to improve existing products and specs
- Design and run experiments with clear hypotheses and metrics
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and partners for alignment and execution
- Build a structured product development process and lead a small team as the business scales
Requirements
- 4+ years in Product, Category, or Brand Management in DTC e-commerce, consumer physical products, beauty, haircare, or personal care
- Proven track record of launching products from concept to market and running lean experiments
- Strong customer insight skills: interviews, surveys, feedback synthesis
- Analytical expertise to interpret data, track KPIs, and make decisions
- Experience collaborating with performance marketing teams for product-market fit
- High bias for action, structured approach, attention to detail, end-to-end decision-making
- Excellent communication to explain trade-offs and rationale
Nice to have
- Experience with older or accessibility-focused customer segments
- Knowledge of hair tools, beauty devices, or assistive products
- Working with Asian manufacturers (e.g., China)
- Familiarity with reviews, NPS, and customer feedback systems
- Exposure to performance marketing, CRO, or growth teams
