Cable Assembler (1st Shift): Assembles components, assemblies, sub-assemblies, cables, harnesses, chassis, printed circuit boards, panels, LRUs, batteries, and servo motors with an accent on setups, adjustments, tolerances, rework, and modifications. Focus on ensuring specifications, safety compliance, and quality in electronic and mechanical assembly tasks.

Location: Onsite in Poway, CA. Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance is required.

Salary: $54,000 ($25.96/hr)

What you will do

• Assemble components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies.
• Perform setups and adjustments to hold tolerances to specifications.
• Assemble electronic equipment like cables, harnesses, chassis, PCBs, or mechanical items like panels, LRUs, batteries, servo motors.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble assemblies as needed.
• Assist in training lower-level assemblers, housekeeping, and other duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and three or more years of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wire lists.
• Knowledge of computer operations pertinent to the position.
• Familiarity with soldering and compression connection tools.
• Good visual perception and ability to distinguish colors.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance.
• Ability to work independently or in a team, including extended hours.
