What you will do

• Architect foundational systems in Go, design event-driven architectures, message queues, and APIs as organizational standards
• Optimize performance at scale, ensure reliability, scalability, and regulatory compliance
• Lead complex multi-team initiatives, resolve organization-wide issues, and set technical direction
• Coordinate infrastructure strategies with DevOps and vendors for regional deployments in UAE/Saudi markets
• Mentor engineers, share knowledge through reviews, talks, and documentation
• Influence engineering practices, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive strategic projects

Requirements

• 10+ years software engineering experience architecting complex production systems at scale
• Expert in Go/backend languages, system design, event-driven architectures, microservices
• Deep expertise in cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Proven leadership in multi-team initiatives, mentoring, and organizational influence
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and strategic thinking
• Willingness to travel occasionally in Middle East region

Nice to have

• Fintech/financial systems experience, regulatory compliance (DFSA, SCA, CMA)
• Infrastructure coordination, IaC (Terraform), observability tools
