What you will do

• Develop site designs including stormwater drainage, grading plans, and utility layouts.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, and permit applications.
• Coordinate with local agencies for compliance and approvals.
• Perform site analyses for grading, hydrology, and stormwater management.
• Collaborate with architects, planners, contractors, and project managers.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and construction support including RFIs and site visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in civil site design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Must live in Michigan with flexibility to work from home near offices and travel 10-25%.
• Experience administering local agency reviews and regulations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with sustainable design, LEED, Land F/X, or hydrology modeling software.
