What you will do
- Prepare construction-ready floor plans, riser diagrams, and electrical interconnection details in AutoCAD.
- Develop technical submittals, including data sheets and battery calculations, for field installation teams.
- Maintain project drawing files, documentation logs, and as-built records.
- Translate engineering assignments into accurate technical drawings in collaboration with the Design Team.
- Build knowledge of low-voltage systems and life safety codes through professional development.
Requirements
- AutoCAD proficiency, version 2014 or higher.
- Strong command of Windows-based software and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Professional business or office experience; construction experience is preferred.
- Previous exposure to electrical or mechanical construction is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills, accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to the life safety industry.
Nice to have
- NICET Level I or II certification, or a strong desire to obtain it.
