TL;DR

What you will do

  • Maintain and update safety procedures, conduct training sessions and compliance audits.
  • Audit LOTO procedures, permits, and operational tasks with strong field presence.
  • Conduct personnel exposure monitoring, noise surveys, and ventilation assessments.
  • Oversee respirator protection program and serve as backup Radiation Safety Officer.
  • Lead monthly safety meetings, security inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Participate in PHA, PSSR, prepare reports, and manage corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Physically capable of standing 4+ hours, climbing 50+ feet, lifting 50 lbs, and frequent bending/stooping/climbing.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Occupational Health, Safety, and/or Environmental Sciences in chemical/polymer manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, ACGIH regulations; auditing, documentation, training, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage teams without authority, prioritize multiple projects, problem-solve, and communicate effectively.
