What you will do

• Provide direction and coordinate work of sub-leads and piping designers for high design quality.
• Manage delivery schedules, escalate risks to project managers, and develop resource loaders for budget tracking.
• Support piping team in resolving design challenges with process and mechanical engineers.
• Coordinate piping design with other disciplines like electrical, mechanical, and structural.
• Perform field support including site walks on client sites.

Requirements

• 5+ years leading small teams (or larger) as senior piping designer responsible for area of scope
• 15+ years in layout of process/mechanical equipment and piping design
• Experience clarifying scope, working with cross-discipline teams, and meeting delivery schedules
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Knowledgeable user of CADWorx 3D, Revit, and/or Navisworks
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to have

• Experience with process mechanical piping, industrial waste, high purity water systems
• Microelectronics (semiconductor) experience
• Pipe installation details and supports
