What you will do

• Contribute to creating systems and processes for high-quality development, deployment, and maintenance of production ML applications.
• Build and maintain Google Cloud Platform infrastructure for software development and high-volume systems.
• Collaborate with team, stakeholders, and execute on future development directions.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in machine learning development pipeline: research, experimentation, ML-Ops.
• Expertise in ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras/JAX) and Python libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas).
• Experience with software design patterns (Observer, Decorator, Visitor, Producer/Consumer).
• Proficiency with open source tools: Git, TensorFlow, Apache Beam/Dataflow, Google Compute Engine.
• Experience evolving prototypes to production in early-stage agile environments and interfacing with customers.

Nice to have

• Production experience in geospatial industry: code development, security, testing, monitoring.
• Work with diverse geospatial data.
• ML Operations for scaling applications to production.
