What you will do

• Design, build, and test reliable, scalable ML data pipelines for industrial deployment.
• Explore and manipulate 3D point cloud and mesh data to enable geometry-aware modeling.
• Collaborate with simulation engineers and customers to define and solve complex physics and engineering challenges.
• Translate R&D project outputs into reusable libraries, tooling, and production-ready products.
• Create analytics environments in the cloud or on-premise, spanning data engineering and science.
• Mentor colleagues in engineering best practices and standards to improve overall system reliability.

Requirements

• Must be based in the San Francisco area.
• 2+ years of industry experience (post Masters or PhD) in a commercial, non-research environment.
• Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and MLFlow.
• Experience with distributed computing (Spark, Dask) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Educational background in Physics, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience in ML/Computational statistics use-cases in industrial settings, such as supply chain optimization or manufacturing processes.
• Proven track record of scoping and delivering technical projects in customer-facing roles.
