What you will do

• Own end-to-end frontend architecture for checkout and payment flows across web platforms
• Improve conversion rates through UX enhancements, performance optimization, and data-driven A/B experimentation
• Build seamless payment UX for complex states including retries, failures, and authentication (3DS)
• Optimize frontend performance focusing on Core Web Vitals, latency, and rendering
• Integrate with backend APIs, PSPs (Stripe, Adyen), and orchestration layers
• Define frontend standards, mentor team, and drive scalable, maintainable architecture

Requirements

• 7+ years of frontend engineering experience in fast-paced environments, with deep hands-on in checkout or payment flows
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js)
• Experience improving conversion rates via experimentation, analytics, and UX iteration
• Strong frontend performance optimization and rendering strategies
• Familiarity with payments infrastructure (Stripe, Adyen, tokenization, 3DS)
