What you will do

• Lead AI-first engineering using tools like GitHub Copilot, Devin AI, and GPT APIs; define prompt engineering best practices.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack features, including architecture, back-end APIs, and data layers.
• Drive technical leadership: conduct code reviews, implement testing strategies, and mentor junior/mid-level engineers.
• Evaluate AI trends, adopt new tools, and contribute to the technical roadmap and engineering processes.

Requirements

• Reside in Mexico (Mexican Citizen or PR required)
• 7+ years software development experience building scalable production-grade applications.
• Deep expertise in backend/full-stack tech (Python, Go, Java, Node.js, React); architected complex systems.
• Experience with AI tools/LLMs (GitHub Copilot, Devin AI, GPT APIs, LangChain, OpenAI).
• Strong code quality, security, performance focus; unit/integration/E2E testing expertise.
• Technical leadership: mentoring, leading projects end-to-end.
• Excellent English communication skills for technical/non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience with U.S.-based stakeholders.
• Knowledge of HR, Legal, or Risk industries.
• Portfolio/open-source contributions in AI/software engineering.
