TL;DR

Product Manager – Credit Cards (Fintech): Shaping segment-led product strategy and designing end-to-end, customer-centric credit card products and propositions with full P&L accountability. Focus on launching and enhancing products like major partnerships or instalments propositions, balancing customer value, commercial outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Location: Chester or Manchester (hybrid, at least two days per week or 40% of time in office)

Salary: £61,344 - £68,160

Leading UK bank rebooting its Credit Cards business for growth and transformation.

What you will do

  • Design, launch and enhance credit card products meeting customer needs with P&L accountability.
  • Shape product strategy, roadmaps and partnerships with external providers.
  • Collaborate with Platform, Engineering, Everyday Banking and risk teams for compliant delivery.
  • Deliver initiatives on partnerships or instalments, balancing value, commercial and risk factors.
  • Use data, insights and trends to inform prioritisation and decisions.

Requirements

  • Location: Chester or Manchester, hybrid with minimum office attendance
  • 3+ years product management experience delivering end-to-end products in financial services or regulated environments.
  • Strategy delivery, translating into roadmaps and plans.
  • 3+ years cross-functional agile delivery with tech, engineering, operations and risk.
  • Strong analytical skills using data, customer insight and market trends.
  • Stakeholder management, communication and customer-centric mindset aligned to Consumer Duty.

Nice to have

  • Credit cards, payments or BNPL experience.
  • External partner management.
  • Product experimentation or test-and-learn.
  • Regulated product and risk frameworks.
