What you will do

• Diagnose and repair rotating equipment and perform routine maintenance to support plant operations.
• Conduct periodic preventative maintenance following plant operating and safety procedures.
• Install, repair, align, and troubleshoot high-pressure centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, pneumatic and electrical controls, steam distribution equipment, boilers, and auxiliaries.
• Work scheduled and emergency overtime, including occasional night shifts as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Maintenance Mechanic in power plant, refinery, or industrial setting.
• Must understand and accept verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, climb heights, tolerate extreme temperatures, and possess valid driver's license.
• Must pass pre-employment physical exam and drug screening; willing to join IBEW Local 614 union.

Nice to have

• Vo-tech certificate, apprenticeship, or degree in Machine Tool Technology.
• Experience with high-pressure steam boilers, industrial chillers, turbines, air compressors.
• Proficiency in laser alignment tools, milling, calipers, micrometers, rigging, and blueprints.
