Sr. Backend Engineer - Managed Services (Cybersecurity): Develop and improve novel solutions for Falcon Complete that detect, analyze, investigate, and remediate threats at scale with an accent on AI-integrated automation systems leveraging the Falcon Platform. Focus on designing reliable and performant microservices, building scalable data pipelines, and ensuring 24/7 operations for global security analysts.

Hybrid role based out of offices in Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA, USA.

Salary: $140,000 - $215,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement new features and product enhancements for threat detection and remediation.
• Collaborate with Falcon Complete stakeholders to solve real-world cybersecurity challenges.
• Build reliable and performant solutions for scalability in microservices architecture.
• Improve service monitoring and address issues proactively.
• Write automation to reduce operational load.
• Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 operations.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Golang, Python, JavaScript, C++, or Java (willingness to use Golang).
• Experience building web services and data pipelines at scale.
• Experience with microservices, relational/NoSQL/graph databases, and messaging systems like Kafka or Kinesis.
• Linux programming fundamentals, distributed systems, cloud native technologies, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud observability tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; thrive in asynchronous and remote environments.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
