What you will do

• Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance to solve complex problems and drive innovation.
• Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and maintainable distributed systems.
• Establish coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices for high-quality solutions.
• Mentor engineers across various levels to foster a culture of learning and growth.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and roadmaps.
• Research and integrate new tools and methodologies to enhance development processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in technical leadership.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, scalable systems in production.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architectures, microservices, and API design.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, or similar languages.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
• Must be eligible to work in the US (implied by 401k and US health insurance benefits).

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering and machine learning pipelines.
