What you will do

• Architect and implement high-performance, fault-tolerant automation services using Python and Playwright.
• Build reusable wrappers and stable, versioned APIs to interface with legacy EMR systems.
• Lead architectural design for the custom automation platform and ensure seamless service integration.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies for production transparency.
• Partner with AI, data, and product teams to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in Python and SDLC.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with deep Python expertise in production distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with server-side, headless browser frameworks like Playwright or Puppeteer.
• Strong background in building and operating large-scale distributed architectures.
• Proven ability to design RESTful APIs and lead technical vision for products or components.
• Intimate knowledge of testing strategies, including unit, integration, and functional testing.
• Must be based in the US to support our remote/onsite operations.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare tech, specifically with EMR/EHR systems like Epic.
• Familiarity with data governance standards like HIPAA, SOC 2, or HITRUST.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and message queues such as Kafka.
• Experience with Python desktop automation libraries like pywinauto.
