What you will do

• Design and implement software for wind farm controllers using PLC, C#, and C++.
• Develop communication interfaces like Profinet, Modbus TCP/RTU, and IEC60870-5-101/104.
• Validate software via lab tests and remote field tests.
• Optimize performance of wind farm control systems.
• Collaborate with control, grid code, testing, and validation teams.
• Lead complex projects and provide 3rd-level support for wind farm fleet.

Requirements

• University degree in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related.
• Solid experience in C#, C++, and/or IEC 61131-3 PLC programming.
• Strong understanding of PLC architectures and control algorithms.
• Familiarity with industrial protocols (OPC UA, DNP3, Bluecom).
• Experience with grid codes and renewable systems (wind, BESS, PV, hybrid).
• Fluent English (spoken and written); German or Spanish a plus.
• Structured, reliable, independent work style with team skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in embedded systems and real-time applications.
• Experience with IEC61400-25 and model-based design (MATLAB/Simulink).
