What you will do

• Develop embedded software for the 10 Million cores SpiNNcloud Machine.
• Explore and implement energy and performance-driven optimizations for ML algorithms.
• Build a robust and consistent compiler infrastructure for SpiNNcloud hardware.
• Design and implement benchmarks for latency, energy efficiency, and energy-delay product.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of technical demonstrators.

Requirements

• Experience with Tiny Machine Learning (TinyML).
• Strong programming skills in Python and C, focusing on data structures, graphs, and OOP.
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning algorithms.
• Experience with multicore embedded systems and sensors.
• BSc, MSc, or Dipl.-Ing. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Expertise in version control tools such as Git or SVN.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematical sciences.
• Understanding of Event-based Machine Learning or Neuromorphic algorithms.
• Experience with Neuromorphic hardware (e.g., Loihi or SpiNNaker).
• Active contributions to open-source software via GitHub.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools like GitLab.
• Experience developing real-time Computer Vision applications.
