What you will do

• Collaborate with triad (Designer + Product + Development) to identify challenges, prioritize opportunities, and craft team roadmaps.
• Design technical solutions and provide feedback on code reviews, architecture documents.
• Contribute hands-on by shipping code or extensive reviews.
• Conduct 1:1s to support direct reports' career growth and development.
• Participate in hiring to grow the engineering team.
• Review code from your team or other hirify.global developers.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in people leadership for large-scale SaaS products.
• Strong hands-on software development background.
• Diverse knowledge to solve complex technical problems.
• Experience describing successful and failed projects with lessons learned.
• Proven ability to hire, coach, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
• Strong opinions weakly held, honest feedback culture, adaptable roadmaps.
• Growth mindset in process improvement and new technologies, especially AI.

Nice to have

• Philosophy on great software development teams.
• Deep expertise in .NET CLR internals or advanced SQL Server performance tuning.
• Experience with monoliths, distributed systems, microservices and tradeoffs.
