System Engineer (MedTech)

TL;DR

System Engineer (MedTech): Lead the design, development, and integration of complex, regulated medical device hardware from concept through to production with an accent on system architecture, cross-functional interfaces, and compliance with medical standards. What you will do

• Define and own system architecture for complex, high reliability communication devices, including interfaces, signal flows, and system partitioning
• Lead cross-functional integration and system bring-up across hardware, firmware, and software
• Conduct verification, validation, and risk management to ensure compliance with medical device standards
• Translate user and business requirements into actionable system and hardware specifications
• Validate performance via simulations, benchmarking, and environmental testing
• Drive innovation and contribute to long-term technology roadmaps while collaborating with engineering, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing teams

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years in hardware system engineering or architecture, preferably in medical devices
• Deep expertise in electronics, firmware, and mechanical systems
• Experience in regulated MedTech environment (AAC experience is a strong plus)
• Solid knowledge of ISO 13485, IEC 60601, ISO 14971, and quality systems
• Strong English communication skills; ability to influence teams and stakeholders
