TL;DR

Android Developer (Cyber): Build and sustain custom Android capabilities for operational cyber teams with an accent on end-to-end ownership from design to sustainment. Focus on developing tools, diagnosing issues with debuggers, and solving time-sensitive real-world cyber problems.

Location: Onsite in Reston, Virginia. Active U.S. Government Top Secret (TS) clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) required or ability to obtain one

What you will do

• Design and develop custom software tools for Android platform.
• Own end-to-end development including requirements, implementation, testing, and sustainment.
• Diagnose and debug issues using COTS/GOTS tools and frameworks.
• Apply networking concepts and protocols to tool development.
• Produce documentation for operation, maintenance, and support.
• Mentor junior developers and respond to time-sensitive cyber problems.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Government Top Secret (TS) clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) or ability to obtain one
• At least 3+ years of experience
• Experience developing, testing, and debugging in Python and C
• Building UNIX applications using makefiles on mission-relevant platforms
• Developing CNO tools with socket programming and packet-level IP/TCP knowledge
• Proficiency with debuggers like WinDbg, gdb, IDA Pro; reverse engineering binaries; proof-of-concept exploits
• Knowledge of OS internals (ELF, NTFS, access controls, process APIs) and mitigations (ASLR, DEP)
• Experience with version control (git, GitLab)

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Native-level Android development (NDK)
• Vulnerability analysis, ARM assembly, mobile security (SELinux, sandboxing)
• Experience with Objective-C, Swift, C++
