What you will do

• Architect and implement core telephony framework components including calling, data connectivity, messaging, Wi-Fi calling, eSIM provisioning, and 5G integration.
• Optimize telephony stack performance for call setup latency, network registration, and power efficiency across carrier networks and device configurations.
• Partner with product management to translate customer experience goals into technical designs.
• Collaborate with modem/baseband, OS platform, QA/certification, and cloud services teams to deliver end-to-end telephony features.
• Lead design reviews, own architectural decisions, and resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 3+ years of Android development experience
• Experience building complex software systems delivered to customers
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for full SDLC, including coding standards, architectures, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, testing, and operational excellence
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Nice to have

• Experience with full SDLC, including build processes, testing, and operations
• Hands-on experience developing telephony and cellular services software, deep understanding of cellular stacks (IMS, MMTel, RCS), device connectivity, and data services
