ADAS Calibration and Validation Engineer

TL;DR

ADAS Calibration and Validation Engineer (ADAS/AD): Develop test plans, conduct vehicle and systems tests, and calibrate ADAS features for OEM projects with an accent on requirements coverage, traceability, and performance KPIs. Focus on virtual environment testing, track and public road evaluations, and refining feature requirements from concept to production.

Location: Primarily based in Midlands office (Coventry, UK) with some travel to customers’ locations and other worldwide hirify.global sites. No UK sponsorship required; DBS check mandatory.

What you will do

• Develop test plans and cases for ADAS features with requirements traceability to use cases
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate tests in virtual environments, on test tracks, and public roads
• Calibrate ADAS features and functions
• Identify use cases and refine requirements from feature to component level plus KPIs
• Report project activities and track milestones with customers

Requirements

• Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with vehicle integration, test planning, and testing in virtual, track, and road environments
• ADAS features calibration, vehicle testing, data collection, and post-processing
• Awareness of systems development lifecycle
• Understanding of vehicle control modules, E/E architecture, and vehicle systems
• Good written and verbal English communication
• Flexibility to travel to suppliers, customers, and other hirify.global offices
• Excellent organizational skills, high motivation, and proactive attitude

Nice to have

• ADAS/AD systems engineering experience
• Knowledge of ADAS regulations and standards (UN-ECE, ISO)
• Knowledge of C++, Python, ROS
• Simulation and validation tools (e.g. CarMaker)
• Vector tools (e.g. CANalyzer, CANape)
