What you will do

• Own the multi-year global hardware roadmap, aligning device portfolio with regional markets, competition, and economics.
• Define device lifecycle policies, management principles, and security standards across provisioning, updates, diagnostics, and decommissioning.
• Lead make/buy/partner decisions, hardware compatibility testing, certification, and integration with payment stacks and peripherals.
• Establish go-to-market playbooks, KPIs for fleet health, and release management processes.
• Drive cross-functional alignment via governance forums, investment frameworks, and executive reporting on hardware strategy impact.

Requirements

• 7+ years product management experience, including 3+ years owning hardware or hardware-adjacent products in payments, fintech, or retail tech.
• Experience defining global strategies across geographies, managing hardware partners/OEMs, and handling technical evaluations/negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of payment standards (PCI PTS, EMV contact/contactless/QR, P2PE) and device management platforms (MDM/RMM).
• Proven cross-functional leadership translating business needs to technical specs in matrixed global organizations.
• Exceptional communication for executive stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• POS hardware ecosystems experience (countertop, mobile, peripherals).
• Android-based payment device development and supply chain/logistics for multi-region deployments.
• Building hardware certification or ISV partner programs; prior acquirer/facilitator/fintech scale experience.
