Legal Operations Paralegal (Fintech)

TL;DR

Legal Operations Paralegal (Fintech/SaaS): Serve as mission control for legal department by triaging requests, managing contract lifecycle, and maintaining corporate records with an accent on US contracting principles and audit readiness. Focus on routing to external counsel, proofreading agreements, and handling e-signatures autonomously as the sole internal legal resource.

Location: Remote from Atlanta, Boston, Austin, Portland, Phoenix, Tampa, Reno, or Rochester in the United States. Must be legally eligible to work in the US.

What you will do

• Manage legal ticketing system as first point of contact for departments like Product, Sales, Engineering, and Finance.
• Triage and route incoming legal requests to appropriate external specialist counsel.
• Coordinate corporate documentation for banking and payment processor partners.
• Maintain centralized library of licenses, disclosures, and filings for Lending and Payroll products.
• Proofread and review vendor agreements, MSAs, and NDAs.
• Own end-to-end e-signature process and repository of executed agreements.
• Support corporate secretarial functions including records, registrations, and board documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of paralegal experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong familiarity with US contracting principles and corporate law.
• Exceptional attention to detail in legal proofreading and document versioning.
• Experience handling sensitive corporate information with confidentiality.
• Builder mindset to work autonomously.
• Proficiency with ticketing systems (Jira/Zendesk), e-signature platforms, and document management systems.

Nice to have

• In-house corporate experience at Fintech, SaaS, or technology company.
• Paralegal Certification by NALA.
• Familiarity with financial regulations (KYC/AML, Lending disclosures).
