What you will do

• Develop and modify software-defined vehicle and artificial intelligence functions.
• Research state-of-the-art technologies and methods for AI and automotive systems.
• Develop model-based and hand-coded software, including MATLAB/Simulink implementations.
• Develop next-generation low- and high-voltage automotive power converters, gate drivers, and switch-mode power supplies.
• Support high-voltage battery integration, battery modeling, battery management algorithms, and cell-to-pack data analysis.
• Define requirements, testing, validation, safety, and compliance activities for automotive systems.

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant field such as computer science, electronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or control engineering.
• Strong expertise in one or more research areas: SDV, AI, power electronics, or automotive batteries.
• Relevant programming, modeling, simulation, software validation, or automotive systems experience.
• English: fluent speaking and excellent writing skills required.
• Applicants must not have resided in Türkiye for more than one year within the last three years and must not currently be working in Türkiye.
• Applicants must meet the program's academic, research, institutional, and international experience requirements.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AUTOSAR, QNX, Linux, RTOS, Ethernet, SOME/IP, Eclipse SDV, or COVESA.
• Experience with AI-based cybersecurity, language models, or object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of automotive development processes and standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262.
• Experience with automotive-grade battery systems, EVs, electrical safety, or advanced semiconductor technologies.
