Researcher (SDV/AI/Power Electronics/Batteries): Develop SDV functions, AI algorithms, next-generation power converters, and battery management systems with an accent on model-based design, state-of-the-art technologies, and automotive standards. Focus on requirements engineering, simulation, validation, and integration for high-efficiency automotive applications.

Location: Istanbul, Turkey (onsite). Applicants must not have resided in Türkiye for more than 1 year within the last 3 years and must not be working in Türkiye.

What you will do

• Develop and modify SDV, AI, power electronics, and battery functions using model-based and hand-coded software.
• Survey and implement state-of-the-art AI and automotive technologies.
• Conduct requirements engineering, simulation, testing, and validation.
• Design gate drivers, power supplies, battery models, and management algorithms.
• Perform data analysis, FMEA, and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.

Requirements

• PhD in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, and relevant tools (AUTOSAR, QNX, LTspice, etc.).
• Expertise in SDV, AI (models, inference), power electronics, or batteries.
• Fluent spoken and excellent written English (C1+).
• Outstanding researcher profile: top cited, experience in top institutions/companies abroad, specific work experience per program track.
• Must meet program eligibility (e.g., no recent long residency in Türkiye).
