What you will do

• Coordinate and support automation pilots and innovation projects, developing them into standardized scalable solutions.
• Act as technical sparring partner for external suppliers on vision systems, robotics, SCADA, and AI.
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, start-up activities, and small PLC/automation adjustments.
• Contribute to OT architecture, data integration via industrial Ethernet and OPC/UA into information systems.
• Identify Industry 4.0 opportunities like smart vision, AI, and predictive maintenance.
• Collaborate with maintenance, project engineers, IT, production, and QA teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
• Initial experience or strong affinity with industrial automation and OT environments
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, SCADA/HMI, sensors, industrial networks
• Interest in data, digitalization, emerging technologies
• Strong communication skills to connect disciplines
• Curious, pragmatic, self-driven mindset
