What you will do

• Work with engineers on new projects from scratch or within existing codebase
• Build backend wiring, application logic, and UI for products
• Drive development process including design, coding, documenting, testing, debugging, and tuning
• Provide estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms/technologies
• Collaborate across development teams to design and release products
• Mentor teammates and share learnings

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Excellent programming skills in an object-oriented language
• Experience with web development: SQL databases, caching, backend APIs, Javascript, CSS
• Experience building, scaling, and monitoring resilient systems
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
