Java Developer (Systematic Hedge Fund)

Salary: Up to £130k per year plus bonus

Systematic hedge fund developing technology for trading and risk management.

What you will do

• Build and optimise the risk platform used across the firm’s trading activity.
• Develop and support a low-latency, distributed system calculating RTR for cross-asset strategies.
• Interface regularly with quants from trading pods.
• Work within a small core technology team led by the CTO.

Requirements

• Experience building and optimising high-throughput systems in Java.
• Junior or mid-level software engineering experience.
• Background in Middle Office or Front Office is preferred.
• Exposure to frontend technologies, ideally React, is preferred.
• Risk experience or knowledge is not required.
