What you will do

• Review English video content and suggest adaptations for Australian edition, covering spelling, punctuation, grammar, terminology, cultural relevance, style guide adherence, grade appropriateness, and pedagogical relevance.
• Ensure overall quality and consistency of English content for Australia.
• Answer queries on Australian English, cultural customs, and English curriculum.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a relevant field and prior experience in a related role.
• Impeccable knowledge of Australian English linguistic conventions.
• Strong understanding of Australian culture and customs.
• Familiarity with style manuals and guides (e.g., The Chicago Manual of Style).
• Experience as an English teacher in the Australian education system (primary or secondary).
• Extensive knowledge of Australian pedagogy, teaching methodologies, and student reading/knowledge levels.
• Strong communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, efficiency, organization, and proficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
