What you will do

• Develop, refine, prioritize, and validate product backlog based on customer discovery and business value.
• Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements aligned with mortgage servicing workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering, testing, and stakeholders to validate delivery and unblock teams.
• Apply mortgage servicing expertise to identify gaps, improvements, and automation opportunities.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, workshops, and reviews while ensuring compliance and quality standards.
• Advise on AI integration to enhance technology delivery strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar in mortgage servicing
• Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing operations, systems, and regulations
• Experience writing user stories, managing Agile backlogs, and working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• US-based for 100% remote work
• Occasional travel to client location (approx. once per month)

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or Computer Science
• Experience with mortgage platforms like MSP, Sagent, LoanSphere
• Supporting large-scale servicing transformations or regulatory initiatives
• Using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project
• Consulting experience with mortgage servicing clients
