Salary: $130,000 - $220,000

What you will do

• Design and build scalable backend services in Python to process and serve sensor data at scale
• Architect cloud infrastructure for high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines on Azure
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, testing infrastructure, and release processes
• Integrate software directly with hardware and systems engineering teams for sensor systems
• Define software architecture decisions and mentor engineers as the team grows

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience designing and operating scalable backend systems in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Track record of building production systems, on-call, debugging outages, shipping under pressure
• Proficiency with modern practices: git, unit testing, CI/CD, code review
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or permanent resident)
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance

Nice to have

• Experience at top-tier tech company building systems at scale
• Background in data-intensive pipelines, streaming, or real-time systems
• Infrastructure-as-code, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), Azure cloud-native
• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
• Interest in defense, aerospace, or national security
