What you will do

• Define and uphold the overall creative vision, aligning gameplay systems and design elements with the intended player experience.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to translate strategic objectives into actionable game design direction.
• Oversee game design across concept, pre-production, production, and live operations phases.
• Guide and mentor design teams, establishing best practices and quality standards.
• Ensure cohesion across art, engineering, production, and audio departments for consistent execution.
• Monitor game balance, pacing, progression, and quality; communicate status and risks to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Located in the United States (remote position).
• 4+ years of leadership experience in video game industry with strong creative vision.
• 5+ years in game design, including lead or management roles.
• Solid understanding of game development tools and engines, particularly Unreal Engine.
• Experience with Jira and structured production workflows.
• Strong cross-functional communication and ability to balance creativity with constraints.
