Production Planner

Salary: $80,000 - $115,000 depending on experience

What you will do

• Create and maintain production schedules in SAP to support customer demand and OTD goals.
• Monitor KPIs for on-time delivery, throughput, and inventory; support cost reduction via capacity utilization.
• Establish delivery schedules, ensure material availability, and coordinate expedites with purchasing and operations.
• Analyze and resolve system exceptions, implement engineering change orders, and process RMAs.
• Maintain data integrity for planning attributes and monitor lead times and inventory accuracy.
• Own excess/obsolescence analysis and participate in production meetings and cycle counts.

Requirements

• B.A./B.S. or equivalent, preferably in Supply Chain, Operations, or Materials; 7+ years in production/capacity planning.
• APICS certification required; MRP experience in high-mix low-volume manufacturing a plus.
• Expertise in Lean manufacturing practices preferred; proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, team player; experience in capacity/constraint-based planning preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP system preferred; Demand Flow planning desired.
