What you will do

• Provide technical and design leadership across high-impact projects impacting business goals
• Set strategic technical directions for engineering team
• Partner with designers and product managers to create engaging customer experiences
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables as hands-on engineer
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions
• Influence and mentor distributed engineers

Requirements

• 8-12+ years of professional experience
• Experience building scaled web-based applications with deep business understanding
• Exceptional technical design and communication skills
• Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails/React
• Strong foundations in UI development; product security or DevOps helpful
• Ability to negotiate trade-offs between product and engineering priorities
• Excellent communication skills
