What you will do

• Provide technical and design leadership on high-impact projects aligned with business goals
• Set strategic technical directions for the engineering team
• Partner with designers and product managers to build engaging customer experiences
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables as a hands-on engineer
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions
• Influence and mentor distributed engineers

Requirements

• 8-12+ years of professional experience building scaled web-based applications
• Exceptional technical design and communication skills
• Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails and React
• Strong foundations in UI development; product security or DevOps helpful
• Ability to negotiate trade-offs between product and engineering priorities
• Excellent communication skills
