What you will do

• Deliver high-quality, accessible designs for native mobile and responsive web, applying platform conventions like iOS HIG and Material Design.
• Lead discovery, journey mapping, prototyping, testing, and polished UI design using data and user insights.
• Evolve the design system through pattern contributions and reuse while balancing usability, creativity, and feasibility with engineers.
• Translate product strategy into design opportunities, embed lean UX, and connect user needs to business impact.
• Mentor associate designers, lead workshops, design reviews, and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Advocate for WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, performance, and SEO in agile product teams.

Requirements

• Based in Liverpool, UK for hybrid work
• Experience designing digital products in cross-functional teams with a strong portfolio of end-to-end design from discovery to delivery.
• Expertise in UX, interaction, visual design, and accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA).
• Confident designing for native mobile apps (iOS/Android) and responsive web, familiar with platform conventions and mobile-first principles.
• Proficient in Figma and modern design tools, experienced with design systems at scale.
• Skilled in facilitating workshops, testing, and communicating design rationale to influence decisions.
