What you will do
- Coach engineers at all levels, build individual development plans, and foster a culture of continuous feedback and psychological safety.
- Conduct performance evaluations, address underperformance, and champion diverse team culture.
- Evolve squad planning and execution (Scrum, Kanban), remove impediments, and drive excellence in code quality, observability, and delivery pace using metrics.
- Co-own engineering-wide initiatives including hiring, onboarding, AI tool adoption, security practices, and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and cultural awareness for European markets.
- 5+ years as Software Engineer + 2–3 years in formal management with direct reports.
- Track record of developing engineers and overhauling ways of working with measurable impact.
- Strong communication to align technical and business stakeholders across Product, Design, and Data.
Nice to have
- Background in Java/Kotlin, cloud infrastructure, or modern mobile development.
- Experience integrating AI tools responsibly in high-growth product companies.
- Passion for energy transition and electric mobility.
