TL;DR

Business Development Manager (F&BS): Primary growth engine for new customer acquisition across all hirify.global categories in the Philippines with an accent on savory seasonings/blends, beverage premixes, sweet sauces, and broader portfolio. Focus on building structured sales pipeline, converting prospects to first commercial volumes, and opening new segments like mid-tier food manufacturers, bakery chains, emerging QSR concepts, FMCG start-ups.

Location: Manila, Philippines. Willingness to travel extensively within the Philippines and occasionally regionally required.

What you will do

  • Map and prospect the Philippine food manufacturing, foodservice, bakery, beverage, and FMCG segments, prioritizing by strategic fit and volume potential.
  • Develop multi-channel lead generation strategies and manage a structured sales pipeline with defined stages and conversion milestones.
  • Create insight-led pitches and value propositions partnering with R&D and marketing, owning the full journey from qualification to first purchase order.
  • Identify and develop underpenetrated segments/channels, building scalable sales playbooks.
  • Structure commercial terms, negotiate contracts, and ensure deals meet margin thresholds.
  • Build partnerships with distributors, industry associations, and innovation platforms; monitor market intelligence for new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Science, Food Technology, Marketing, or related.
  • 8–12 years B2B commercial experience with proven track record in new business development and customer acquisition, ideally in food ingredients, flavours, seasonings, FMCG, or food manufacturing.
  • Proven hunter prhirify.globalle: self-starter energized by prospecting and closing new accounts.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine food and beverage industry.
  • Experience in value propositions, commercial negotiation, pricing, and margin analysis.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong networking, collaborative nature.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Philippines and regionally.
