What you will do

• Lead and optimize laboratory operations, ensuring instrument performance, troubleshooting, workflow efficiency, and SOP compliance.
• Develop, implement, and execute high-content cell-based assays and technical services for high-quality results.
• Provide expert consultancy to users on experimental design, complex setups, and data reporting.
• Manage digital platforms (ELN, LIMS), resource allocation, procurement, and supplier coordination.
• Drive innovation via technology upgrades, external collaborations, training, and mentorship.

Requirements

• English proficiency
• Master’s degree in biology, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years (PhD included) in technical/research role with strong problem-solving and independence.
• Experience in cell culture and cell biology techniques.
• Knowledge of automated liquid handling (e.g., TECAN Fluent, BIOMEK i5/i7) and high-content imaging platforms (e.g., REVVITY Opera/Operetta, YOKOGAWA CV7000).
• Basic image handling/analysis (FIJI, CellProfiler) and scientific data best practices.

Nice to have

• PhD in biology, engineering or related.
• Extensive experience with listed platforms and tools (FIJI scripting, CellProfiler pipelines).
• Data mining with R or KNIME.
• Leadership in training/supervising juniors.
