What you will do

• Design and maintain data models for investment accounting, focusing on transactional, holding, and valuation data.
• Support system integration by mapping data from varied sources into standardized models, handling complex public and private market data.
• Leverage expertise in accounting systems like Investran and Geneva for GL structures, capital calls, distributions, and performance calculations.
• Build performance and reporting models for portfolio analytics, attribution, and investor reporting.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and ETL processes for high-performance data handling.
• Define data definitions, lineage, and metadata standards to ensure data quality and auditability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years in data modelling and reporting; financial services experience in investment management, private equity, or hedge funds preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership in reporting and analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with cloud data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Amazon Redshift.
• Experience with investment reporting systems like Geneva, Mantra, Investran, Yardi.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Strong communication skills to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
