Staff AI Product Engineer (AI): Developing and implementing AI-powered products, incorporating LLMs, embeddings, and other ML/AI technologies into hirify.global’s experiences with an accent on responsible AI deployment within the mental health platform. Focus on prototyping and experimenting with new AI features, productionizing integrations, and providing technical leadership.

Location: Remote - US (not eligible in Hawaii). US-based team members outside Pacific time zone must overlap at least six hours between 8 am and 5 pm PT each workday.

Salary: $148,835 - $206,000 USD (zone-dependent)

What you’ll do

• Provide technical leadership on prototyping and experimenting with new AI features
• Productionize and ship AI integrations into the core product
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time
• Stay up-to-date with latest AI technologies and trends

Requirements

• 8+ years building and prototyping products from the ground up with full stack experience (user experience to data models)
• Familiar with RDS (ideally Postgres)
• Strong problem-solving with first principles thinking and business impact focus
• Empathetic communication and collaboration across engineering and cross-functional teams
• Experience shipping quality user interfaces, ideally with React/React Native
• Impact-focused with mentoring and leading large projects

Nice to have

• GenAI production experience (LLMs, inference, embeddings)
• ML experience (data engineering, model development, MLOps)
• Proficiency with Python/Django, React/React Native/TypeScript, Docker, Postgres, AWS
• Experience driving teams in high-growth SaaS/Health Tech startups
