What you will do

  • Serve as senior marketing leader and advisor to Japan leadership, shaping country strategy and market planning.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end marketing strategy including brand, demand gen, executive engagement, customer marketing, comms, and events.
  • Localize global and APJ campaigns for maximum in-market impact and build tailored programs for Japan's buyer dynamics.
  • Drive partner marketing and ecosystem development to expand reach, pipeline, and customer engagement.
  • Champion AI-first marketing practices, leveraging data, automation, and emerging tech for effectiveness.
  • Lead, coach, and build a high-performing marketing team focused on accountability and innovation.

Requirements

  • 15+ years progressive marketing leadership in enterprise tech / high-growth software, with proven experience leading marketing in Japan
  • Native / fluent Japanese and business-level English required
  • Demonstrated strategic partnership with senior sales executives and commercial acumen in pipeline/revenue metrics.
  • Strong experience in field marketing, demand gen, partner marketing, comms, events, and B2B go-to-market.
  • Deep understanding of AI's impact on marketing and ability to drive AI-enabled transformation.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and team-building skills.
